Does your outside patio allow dogs??
Great coffee and good breakfast too!!
Not the same vibe anymore. not open at 7 as advertised. sad face...
Nice location, great outdoor seating but very pricey for a cup of coffee.
Quaint, good coffee. Seemed a little expensive, but probably regular island pricing. Cappuccino foam was perfection! The main seating area was separate from the ordering area where the AC was cranked, but pleasant temperature in main seating. They also had outdoor seating which looked nice too.
MoreSuper dope smoothie made with super fresh fruit. Tastes out of this world. Really nice people.
MoreI grew up at this place and now it is its former shell. Prices are a bit steep and the staff aren't as helpful and the seating is not the best. I say go to Starbucks and sit on the beach. Besides they don't even sell the bumber stickers anymore.
MoreThe service was friendly and they made an awesome chai tea latte!
Great coffee great breakfast
Importantly the coffee was good. The atmosphere at this shop could be much better. It is a little stale. The ham and eggs sandwich was also dry. The shop smokes up if they do not open the windows which is a little bit of a problem on cold December mornings. The bean has good coffee but may be best to get it to go.
MoreWalked in, waited for close to 10 minutes and still had not placed an order. A group of two was getting their drinks, and there was a group of three that walked in in front of me. Even they had not placed their order in the 10 minutes I was there. There was only one person working behind the counter and she did not even greet anyone. SEVERELY understaffed. I left. Way to long to stand in a place of business w/o acknowledgement.
MoreGreat coffee; a little pricey but it is Sanibel!!
Coffee ok but service was lousy. 4 staff standing around talking while we were the only ones in store
MoreAlways closed even when it says open online. Is this place still in business?
Amazing breakfast burrito and coffee.
Nice little spot for coffee. Itβs not the cheapest place for sure, but my service was quick and it tastes pretty good! Fast WiFi too- 35 down, 19 up. Good Alternative if your condo doesnβt have the speeds you need.
MoreNot what we expected from a coffee shop. My wife said hers was ok...mine was cold so I had to wait for fresh coffee to be made...it was still terrible...worst coffee...only two options...French and guatamalan. $12.00 down the drain.
MoreBeen coming to Sanibel for over 40 years and have been going to the Bean for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately it is not what it used to be.Nowadays generally the staff are unhelpful and rude. More interested in their phones than customers. The quality of food has also dropped way way off. On our most recent visit we were served microwaved scrambled eggs. Terrible. The time pre ious to that we had mediocre food after poor service being treated rudely. It too bad because this was one of our favorite places for over 20 years, but not any longer.
MoreOrdered two Italian cappuccinos but milk was not frothed properly (dry /American style). Noticeably bitter coffee; nothing Italian about it.
MoreGreat coffee! Service was quick and it looked like your at a really nice coffee place but for half the price.
MoreJust had black coffee but it was lukewarm
Sanibel Bean is a great local sandwich, coffee, tea, and juice spot. Indoor / Outdoor seating with WiFi. Awesome food π.
MoreAmazing coffee. Great smoothies as well.
Employee offered me a menu and went to the back. I waited five minutes for him to come back to take my order, but he never did.
MoreBest selection of coffee on the island. And an absolute steal of a bargain if you bring your own mug.
MoreWe didn't get greeted properly when we walked in, like the place was closing. I got the first breakfast sandwich on the menu. The plain bagel was so dry, the egg was fake, the bacon looked and tasted like it came from the microwave & the tomatoes weren't fresh. The best thing on the plate was the McDonald's-like hashbrown on the side. My partners everything bagel with veggie cream cheese was lackluster and dry as well. The latte we got was actually good. Then the workers came and sat down in the same room and were eating lunch. This place won't make it long if it let your workers do this and you keep providing sub-par food.
MoreWent there three times before I gave up. Poor service and got order wrong twice. No apologies. Waited 20 minutes for my coffee and muffin and place was not very busy. Only two orders ahead of me. Think staff needs to be trained in customer appreciation.
MoreGreat coffee and service. They close at 2pm, but they start doing a soft close much earlier, closing the "kitchen", etc. So 2pm is when the staff wants to leave. If I was the owner, I'd start over with dedicated employees. They would have received 5 stars.
MoreOne of my favorite stops for the coffee frappacino with amazung whipped cream! Been vacationing on Sabibel for years! Love this small beach town! :)
MoreNeeded a coffee fix.... was amazing
They need to be more customer focused and stay off of their cell phones while guests are there. The coffee is average.
MoreLove the iced cappucino, added caramel. Great flavor and the drink was layered, with the coffee separate from the milk froth. It was delicious. Attentive and happy service, "love it!" Also visited with friendly locals and their poodle on the outdoor patio. Lots of outdoor shaded seating and indoor temperature controlled seating with wide open window views.
MoreBest coffee I've found on the island! Food delicious and staff super friendly and helpful!
MoreI never post reviews but omg best chai latte I have ever had, bagels were amazing and exactly what I needed. 10/10 beautiful
MoreBest coffee on the island and the staff was so accommodating and helpful
Great Coffee good service, reasonable prices.
Awesome coffee! I loved the cafe mocha, and my wife loved the cafe au let.
It was ok
They make coffee, sometimes it's amazing sometimes not.
Fun decor, friendly staff, good for a quick bite. Yummy iced mocha & straw-ban smoothies. Really good breakfast burrito (I had bacon, hubby had sausage - just ask, they'll swap out meat for you).
MoreExcellent coffee. I've never eaten here but the food lucks yummy. A mandatory stop for me on the way to the beach. Blended mocha is perfect pick me up on a hot day.
MoreYummy latte! Cute place!
Coffee quality was better than average, Employees were nice. There was no tip line on the receipt if you use a card, so no way to give a tip to employees unless you give them cash! Note to owner, please include this for employees!!! I enjoyed sitting on porch while it rained.
MoreAn actual espresso bar on the island, very casual. Not a lot of food options, but lots of coffee/drink options, which is exactly whatni was looking for. Big covered porch area and also outdoor patio.
MoreSimply the best coffee and breakfast in town. The Island Squirrel( hazelnut & coconut latte ) was phenomenal.
MoreDecaf coffee is horrible! Cheap chemically processed stuff. Spend some money and buy the Swiss water processed that a "good" coffee shop should be serving! Disappointing!
MoreThe kitchen was closed down at least 40 (40!) minutes before closing, so they wouldn't make us sandwiches. They also claimed they had run out of ice cream and couldn't make the espresso shake. I've been going there for years and this was a very disappointing change in service.
MoreGood but overpriced in my opinion for luke warm cup of coffee you have to get yourself from a pump carafe ($4.22). After I added half & half it was barely warm.
MoreCoffee is just ok! Cold coffee drinks are better than the hot
Great drinks, wonderful flavors. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Drinks are on par with Starbucks pricing however quality and flavor is so much better!
